Ever since I can remember I've had a love for animals, desperate to have the school hamster for holidays, dressing up the cats in various guises, pony riding the dogs then pony riding the ponies! Taking my rats out in my coat pockets and scaring passers-by half to death, I have my mad animal loving parents to thank for this! We used to have goats, pigs, fish, sheep, geese, cats, rats, dogs and ponies - all rescue animals and even now, 20 years later I still can't believe how lucky and privileged I was to have all these animals.

I decided to start Woodland Dogs because of my love of dogs; I have over 20 years of hands on experience and have rescue dogs myself (also chicken, fish, cats, horses, rabbits, turkeys, ducks and Florance the Frog - all rescues!) The walks and care are designed around the individual dogs. A puppy is not going to be able to do the same length of walk as an older dog; the same applies to some of my more elderly dogs. I have experience and care for elderly dogs, young dogs and also dogs that need medication. I have an excellent relationship with all the local vets and dog wardens who have no hesitation in recommending Woodland Dogs as a caring, trustworthy, reliable and genuine dog loving service. I walk and care for a great variety of dogs from Great Danes to Chihuahuas, I have a very special relationship with all the dogs I care for; they all have their quirks and idiosyncracies. I'm constantly amazed by their intelligence and loyalty. They are always making me smile at their antics. Some are cheeky, some are laid back, some old and some young and some are just downright naughty!

When in my care your dog becomes my dog and is given as much love and attention as they can stand, which is usually endless. While your dog is in my care their time is spent walking, playing, cuddling and having their tummies tickled - What more could your dog ask for?
